Hey y’all !! Life update I am living in Jeffery’s Bay, South Africa now!! It’s so beautiful, the beach, the people, the coffee!!! Yes, the coffee! My ministry here for the first two weeks looks like working at our local school’s coffee shop every day from 7:30am to 3pm. It is not only is making coffee and toasties, it’s connecting with the teachers here. It’s bringing a little bit more joy to the students life through serving them the way Jesus served us.
It’s actually really cool being able to work with coffee again. I started falling in love with ministry around 8th grade and that’s when I started working in my churches coffee shop. I realized making coffee for people wasn’t only about the coffee, it was about connecting with them, praying for them, and just building that relationship. So wanting to go farther than just make coffee for the people in my church I asked the lord about missions. And it’s really cool to see how far I’ve come since that initial thought. I would of never thought I would be in South Africa doing what I love most for amazing teachers, students, and missionaries here at Global Leadership Academy!
Thank you Jesus for this beautiful opportunity for ministry, and thank you for delicious coffee!!
