Hey guys! I have officially finished the race and have been off the field for a month now! It’s been so fast pace recently and I just wanted to update y’all on what it looks like living in Houston Texas!

Transitioning has not been easy but seeing the Lord through it all has been! He has been providing so much for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed him!

I have gotten a job at a coffee shop called luv coffee which is partnered with a missions organization called coreluv and 50% of our proceeds go to their orphanages overseas all over the world!

It’s been such a cool transition specifically with “ministry” and being on the field working with the kids to being over here bringing awareness and finances to the kids.

Another thing I have been doing is getting really involved in my church young adult called Kairos! I was praying so hard for a good community of believers with a missional lifestyle and the Lord brought me right to one! My small group has been so encouraging throughout this transition!

But it’s not all easy breezy all the time. I feel like I have experienced the most persecution as a Christian in the states than I did over seas in the countries I was in. Most of my Generation has rejected the idea of the lord and has full on just followed their flesh, so with speaking about what the Lord is doing I have been shut down quite a few times. Living in a culture where it’s encouraged to put yourself first and go against what the Lord has intended for us is definitely been hard for me. It’s more of hard in the way that my heart breaks for all of my generation.

Being in Houston has definitely rekindled my passion for the student and young adult generation. For seeing their hurt and being able to not only just listen but encourage them through bringing the Lord into it with my own testimonies! I just am so thankful for the experience that the Lord has given me, and I thank the Lord for the rock he has been for me this past month! And I think untimely what I have learned the most about this time here in Texas is that when I live an interruptible lifestyle the Lord will give me opportunities to share his love 🙂

Anyways if you want to know more about my time over seas or here in the states, and what’s next in my life you can text me @ 8329978167 !

One response to “Living in the great state of Texas!”

  1. Raylee,

I’m truly grateful you had the wonderful opportunity of traveling the world and sharing Christ to a dying world. You’re absolutely right when saying persecution in America is alive today. Praise Jesus He has opened your eyes to the truth and may He continue to give you wisdom beyond your years as you strive to share the powerful message of Jesus to the lost and dying. I love you sweetheart and am very proud of you for making really good choices in life

    Blessings,
    Aunt Lisa
