What language does God speak?

Hey guys!! I am absolutely thriving here in Guatemala. The people here have such a beautiful heart of gold! I just wanted to pop in to share a God story with you, last night during homeless ministry in Antigua we were walking back to the car ready to head home and we came across a few people laying on the sidewalk. We approached ready with food and coffee, our host and I went off to see if the lord was calling us to someone else. On our way back to the group. I noticed a guy standing off kinda watching us and what we were doing. I approached him and asked how he was. Come to find out the he was deaf! If you know me you know I have such a heart for the deaf community. Its a community full of love and openness. I found out he knows sign language, which was so awesome! The only thing was he knew Guatemalan sign and I knew american sign. But somehow I understood so clearly of what he was saying. It just brought so much clarity to the Lords language, which is not bound to one language. while we were talking we had a 4 way translation going from GSL to ASL to English back to Spanish!! I am so thankful the Lord invited me into that conversation. not only to invite me into that community but also to put into perspective on how vast the Lord loves and how it is just so evident in theses peoples heart. ¡¡Hola chicos!! Estoy absolutamente prosperando aquí en Guatemala. ¡La gente de aquí tiene un corazón de oro tan hermoso! Solo quería pasar para compartir una historia de Dios con ustedes, anoche durante el ministerio para personas sin hogar en Antigua estábamos caminando de regreso al auto listos para ir a casa y nos encontramos con algunas personas tendidas en la acera. Nos acercamos listos con comida y café, nuestro anfitrión y yo salimos a ver si el señor nos estaba llamando a alguien más. De camino de regreso al grupo. Me di cuenta de que un chico estaba parado observándonos un poco y lo que estábamos haciendo. Me acerqué a él y le pregunté cómo estaba. ¡Ven a descubrir que era sordo! Si me conoces, sabrás que tengo un gran corazón por la comunidad de sordos. Es una comunidad llena de amor y apertura. Descubrí que él sabe el lenguaje de señas, ¡lo cual fue increíble! Lo único que sabía era el lenguaje guatemalteco y yo sabía el lenguaje americano. Pero de alguna manera entendí tan claramente lo que estaba diciendo. Simplemente trajo mucha claridad al lenguaje de Dios, que no está limitado a un solo idioma. mientras hablábamos, tuvimos una traducción de 4 vías que iba de GSL a ASL y al inglés de regreso al español. Estoy muy agradecido de que el Señor me haya invitado a esa conversación. no solo para invitarme a esa comunidad, sino también para poner en perspectiva lo inmenso que ama el señor y cómo es tan evidente en el corazón de estas personas.
